Multnomah Falls

The weather is gradually drying up here and so I am trying to take advantage of the beauty that surrounds me. (When I say it is drying up here, I mean that instead of raining 29 days in a month it's only raining 20 days in a month!) I am really trying to get in some kind of shape and with the beautiful forests and mountains around me, what better way than cycling and hiking?

One of my co-workers was telling me about Multnomah Falls just over the Washington border in Oregon. She told me about some hiking there, etc. So, I decided to go about a week and a half ago.

It is about 1.5 hour drive (if I remember right). I drove down (yes, by myself - I do a lot by myself, that's a good thing) and decided to eat at the restaurant they have there. I needed food (I'm a Marsh). So I had the special - a hamburger with sauteed onions, pineapple, and barbeque sauce with a side salad. It was yummy. Then I was in heaven. I got to see the falls, hike to the top, and take pics. To hike to the top is only about a mile hike but it is all switchbacks. It was about an 850-900 foot climb over that mile. It was fun! Below you will see a few of them! Enjoy!

I hope you enjoyed! I'll post again soon so check back soon!

Pretty! I've been dying to get out there since a co-worker told me about that place last fall. I'm hoping some day soon we'll get to make the trip. We need to see you. And I need to call you. Do you still have Tuesdays off?
