I see that the last time I blogged was October 2nd! Wow, a lot has happened since then. The jist: I stayed with a family from the Branch for about 6 weeks while I went all over the country interviewing for jobs. In about two weeks' time I went to Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, interviewed in Philly, and to Washington state.
I was incredibly blessed to have the option of choosing from all of these positions. I felt strongly that I needed to go to Washington State but that was not materializing very quickly. The short version is that I accepted a job in Washington State about 1.5 hours south of Seattle.
Thus, I am no longer unemployed, and I am renting a house in a small town called Chehalis.
I love the state of Washington. It is beautiful! I love the trees and mountains! Everything is green! Even tree trunks are green!
